Online Blackjack Cheating
When you mention gambling and cheating in the same sentence, most people
automatically assume that you're talking about a player who has or is attempting
to cheat at casino or online casino gambling game.
For instance, you've probably heard many stories about dishonest gamblers who
try to sneak 'loaded dice' onto casino craps tables. (Loaded dice are dice that
are purposefully unevenly weighted, meaning they land on certain sides more
often than on others, thus presenting the upturned face to the player's
advantage).
The reality, however, is that casinos themselves can be just as likely to cheat
players as the other way around. In Las Vegas for example, in days gone by, there
were reported
incidents of casinos themselves slipping loaded dice onto craps games or highly dealers on Blackjack tables, trained to deal
undetected from the bottom of the pack.
However, as Las Vegas and other gambling towns like Reno and Atlantic City have
grown, along with the resident casinos, specially appointed gaming commissions have
evolved to prevent casinos and players alike from cheating. The penalty
for a casino caught cheating or unfair play is to have its gambling
license revoked.
Of course the big question is how does this impact on online gambling? Take online Blackjack cheating
for instance. Many online Blackjack players are curious as to the integrity of
the online casinos they are gambling on, as well as the integrity of their
fellow players online. Obviously there have been online players who have tried
cheating at online blackjack
The simple truth, however, is that it is almost impossible to cheat at online casino games,
such as online Blackjack or craps because of the high-tech gaming software the online casinos,
backed up by expensive online security systems and checks. In terms of casinos
cheating players, in the early days of online gambling there were some incident
of abuse reported, but very few.
Like Vegas or Reno, the online gambling community is evolving and growing so
rapidly that the industry is being monitored by online gambling
'watchdog' organizations closer than ever before. In addition, to be
competitive, more and more online casinos are becoming legitimately licensed and
advertise to players their payout percentages. These are audited regularly by
reputable auditing firms.
These reports, which you find on most top gambling casinos, let players know that the casino is honest and fair and
does not tamper with
the gaming odds or payouts of its gambling software.
